Sharp Edge has a really interesting menu, featuring some bar food staples, like wings, but also has some wild game mixed in, including boar, bison, and elk.

Service was great, and the food was pretty good, I'd go back again!

It's pretty decent here.  The service is pretty professional, and all the food that I've had thus far has been pretty good.  
The decor isn't all that special, but at least the food is good. 
From my experience you can usually get right in and find a table without much if any wait.
It is a little pricey for what it is, but at least the food and service are a plus.

Buffalo. I was in the mood for a good burger for lunch today so I took a walk out of my office, troddeled through the rain and found myself at the Sharp Edge Bistro on Penn Ave. Since I was alone, I took a seat at the bar and was promptly and professionally greeted with a smile by the bartender. I asked for an ice tea and a menu and was given a few moments to look over my choices. I decided on the buffalo burger (bison, not the wing sauce) and the bartender noticed I was through with the menu and took my order promptly. The burger came about ten minutes later and even though I originally thought, $14.50 is a bit high for a burger and fries, one bite proved that this was an exceptional burger. The bison meat is a bit more flavorful than regular ground chuck and coupled with the sautéed mushrooms, provolone cheese and the slightly toasted bun it was a culinary pleasure worth dodging the raindrops for. Simply put it was delicious! I've been a fan of the Sharpe Edge for a number of years now but mainly for their extensive beer selection. The Sharpe Edge (this is including their sister locations) is the best place in Pittsburgh to find those hard to find but sought after Belgian beers. I can now attest that it has one of the best burgers in the Burgh.
